Ron Grimm

Ron joined the LCMS Foundation as a Gift Planning Counselor in February, 2018. He works with individual Christians in discovering the plan God has placed on their hearts since baptism, faithfully transferring the blessings God has entrusted to them for the care of their families and the support of ministries throughout the Synod that are near and dear to them. Ron also works with congregations to establish and strengthen endowment funds and other long-term ministry objectives. These accounts provide confidence among God’s people that they may make gifts to their congregations and that the congregations will know how to be faithful stewards of them.

Prior to joining the counselor team, Ron was an architect designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings. He holds B.A.s in Architectural Studies and Studio Arts from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Architecture from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, VA.

Ron resides in Pittsburgh, PA, with his wife Deborah, and their son David who is completing his college education. He is currently on the Board of Elders and is on the Leadership team for a Caregiving Program at Peace Lutheran Church, McMurray, PA, and has held various leadership positions over the years. In his spare time, Ron enjoys coin collecting, playing contract bridge, while staying active with tennis and volleyball, and reading a good book.
