The Reformation After the Reformation: Interpreting Martin Luther After February 18, 1546 - CTSFW Reformation Lecture Series with CTSFW President Dr. Lawrence R. Rast, Jr. Lecture will take place in Luther Hall on the campus of Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, IN from 4:00-5:00 PM.

Joint Reformation 500 celebration service with SELC district congregations at Grace Lutheran Church, 13030 Madison Ave, Lakewood, OH, 4:00 PM. Guest preacher is Rev. Dr. James I. Lamb, Emeritus Executive Director, Lutherans for Life. All are welcome, and LCMS active and emeritus clergy are invited to vest. For more information, contact Rev. George R. The Reformation: A Time of Revolutionary Changes? Seminar featuring Dr. Christopher Bellitto (Kean Univ.) on "Luther and Church Reform: A Catholic Perspective" Dr. Christopher Boyd Brown (CSL MDiv graduate and CPH author, now at Boston Univ.) on "Sex, Marriage, and the Family," and Rev. Dr. David Lose (President, Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia) on "Why Luther Still Matters!" The seminar is sponsored by the LCMS New Jersey District and will be held at Princeton University McCosh 50 Hall 9:00 AM-12:30 PM. Joint Detroit North and Detroit South Circuit Reformation Festival Divine Service, hosted by Angelica Lutheran Church, Allen Park, MI – The preacher will be the Rev. Prof. Charles Schulz of Concordia University-Ann Arbor, and brass musicians along with a mass choir from area congregations will provide music. A freewill offering will be collected, and any funds collected beyond those required to cover expenses will be donated to the International Lutheran Center, formerly the Old Latin School, in Wittenberg, Germany. The service will begin at 4 PM and a dinner will follow. All are invited.

Reformation Festival Divine Services will be held at Catalina Lutheran Church, Tucson, AZ, using an English language adaptation of Dr. Luther’s Deutsche Messe. The services will begin at 9 AM and 5 PM and the two services will be identical. All are invited.

The Reformation: Festival Celebration with Hymns featuring The Princeton Theological Seminary Choir, NJ Lutheran Regional Choir, Hand Bell Choir, singing hymns written by Dr. Luther as well as selections from his Deutsche Messe. This event is sponsored by the LCMS New Jersey District and promises to be a memorable kickoff to the Reformation 500 anniversary year! The concert will be held at Princeton University Chapel, Princeton, NJ and begins at 3:15 PM.

October 31
500th Anniversary of the Reformation Service at 7:30 PM in Kramer Chapel on the campus of Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, IN. Dr. Matthew C. Harrison, President, The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod, will serve as preacher.

November 6
Reformation Service of Holy Communion, an annual joint service of Bethany Lutheran Church, Ewing, NJ, and Lutheran Church of the Messiah, Princeton, NJ, will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church. A potluck will follow the service, which begins at 4 PM. All are invited.
